Information and Pricing

The School Year Program at Ballet Durango is designed to be taken for the duration of the school year, however it will be divided into two semesters for ease of payment - Semester I will run from September into January. Semester II will run from January until our recital in May.  The prices listed below are per semester.

Adult may take classes on a single class basis. See single class pricing below.

A limited number of scholarships will be awarded for the the School Year Program in the form of work-study and grants. These scholarships will be awarded to students who have shown ability and commitment who want to take their dancing to that next level of seriousness but are unable to for financial reasons.

All classes will prepare choreography for the recital except classes that are listed on the schedule as non-performing. Performing is optional for adults who are taking classes that are preparing recital choreography.

Our pricing is set up as prices for your first semester and prices for your second semester. If you start in January you will pay the first semester price. We do not charge a registration fee. $25 of your first semester fee will be applied to the charge for your first recital costume. If you do not dance in the recital there will be no reduction of fees. All fees are non-refundable.

Below is Class Pricing for the school year 2022-2023.

First Semester -- Second Semester

• One 45 minute class hour per week $270 -- $220
• One class hour per week $310 -- $260
• Additional class hours per week   $240 -- $240
• Additional half hour or quarter hour classes per week will be charged at the $240 per hour rate
• Workshop Program $975 -- $925
• The workshop program is unlimited ballet and pointe classes
• Private Coaching - $80 per hour -- $45 per half hour
• Price Cap per Person $1350 -- $1300

 

Single Class (adults only with the permission of instructor)   
one hour class - $20.00
one and a half hour class - $25

No registration fee

Adults only seven hour card - $125.00 (usable in any appropriate class)

Please note - If the first member of a family is taking three or more class hours per week, the second and third members of a family will receive a 10% discount on all classes.

Registration form and $100 tuition deposit per class is due to hold your space in class. All fees are non-refundable.

Balance of tuition for the Semester is due by the first week of class. A $15 late fee will be charged for payments received after the first week of class. Payment plans can be arranged. There will be a fee equal to the late fee charged to set up a payment plan.
